Zoo today

Family Sing Off contest

We entered a contest for Family singing groups that is being done by the CBS Early show (they do big brother, Julie Chen etc...)

So i get a call last night about 6pm. It's Tammy from the CBS Early Show - the National TV Show, they called because they loved our video, and she said she thinks we are really good and asked me if we had another original song to record just cause the song is about the 4th of July and it's a little specific time wise. I told her Jerry has been writing music his whole life and yes we could do another video. She said great , she would keep checking the website for it, and she gave me her phone # to call her when it's uploaded.

This is so exciting ......CBS picks the top 6 for the contest, then America votes so wish us luck! The winners get a recording contract with CBS records.

Trevor's 1st Dentist appointment

Trevor Physical 3yrs old

Trevor had a physical at the doctors last week since he turned 3 a few weeks ago. They weighed him at 34lb and he was 37" tall. The doctor checked his eyes, ears, and had him jump up and down, walk to the door and back, checked his tummy and all his parts. He is a healthy boy...YEA
He also had to get a HEP A shot and a flu shot which he ofcourse cried but Daddy made him feel better with a Star Wars sticker and a blue bouncy ball.

Trevor Potty Training

Well it was a long hard road from:

October 12th 2007- Went pee pee on the potty for the very first time with help
May 10th 2008 - Went #2 for the first time on the little potty with help
July 3rd 2008- Wore underwear for the first time
July 5th 2008 - Went pee pee for the first time standing up at the potty
October 6th 2008 - Fully potty trained for daytime (still wears pullups at night just in case)

What a long hard road....

Trevor turned 3 on September 19th, and as of October 6th 2008 he is going to the bathroom on his own without reminders and hasn't had an accident in 6 days!
YEA

Alot going on...

I guess i can safely say this is the busiest i have been in forever...
I am currently:
1) building my own photography/videography business called Image2k Productions
2) being a mom to my 3 yr old son
3) Starting a mime ministry group with my sister
4) helping my husband build a business helping people that are in foreclosure
5) volunteering at my church
6) keeping up my house and bills

wow that's alot.
I am happy though and life is good.

Reunion

Since i posted about Trevor and Daddy being apart for 2 months i thought i would show their reunion.

Potty Training

Today was a YEA day. We are working hard with Trevor on potty training and it's getting easier. We are really training ourselves to remind him. Today without prompting Trevor went into the bathroom and poopied on the potty. This is a huge step for him. We are working on the wiping thing now...He is so big 3yrs old now and i'm so proud of him.

Kierian started Kindergarten...

He has been out of town since July 8th...he is coming back on September 6th and i can't wait. I'm excited about Trevor's 3rd birthday, i think we are doing power rangers, not sure yet...
Trevor is doing good in school and so is Robbie, he is a senior this year, can't believe that.
I am working on starting my own business, it's slow going but i think it will be great...

My night out...

Well Trevor is at his Grandma's and so Catherine and I went out..which we never get to so it was nice.
We went to dinner at our favorite restaurant GrillMarks, food was delectable, then to Ruby Tuesday's for a after dinner drink, I had a appletini, and she has a Ruby Relaxer (like a rum runner) and then we went to see Stepbrothers which was quite possibly the funniest movie i have seen ever...I love Will Ferrell

Adventure Island

I got the pass to Adventure Island/Busch Gardens so you'll see lots of pictures and things from our trips there. We have gone there a few times with Catherine and Kayla and pictures are below.

Trevor's 1st time wearing underwears..

We are working on the potty training thing..it's not easy...boys are really against using the potty for some reason. Anyway we are working hard on it now with Trevor and put underwears on him last night... for the first time, it was the last time he'll wear pull ups during the day....only at night for a while.

Trevor has moved into the Big Boy Bed stage...Daddy took his crib down on 4/20/08 and put together his bed. Trevor helped. He is sleeping well in it now, and he's growing up toooo fast.

My Parents

My parents moved back to Florida last Tuesday to work in a storage place as onsite mgmt. The Storage place never called my parents back and didn't give them the job. They are presently staying with me at our house which is nice for Trevor to get to spend so much time with them.
I am helping them look for a job and a place to live which is not easy....

Uncle Jerry passed away

My Uncle Jerry passed away last night around midnight. He was ill with an infection and his heart couldn't take it. He was always so sweet to me and loved my son Trevor very much. He was very close with my Father and i know my dad is heartbroken over losing his younger brother so early in life. I'm sorry he's gone but he's in a better place now.

Started new business

Well we did it. I have started a new business called Image*2k Productions and we are very excited about it.

My friend Erin

I got the news on Saturday night that my friend Erin Iudiciani Shannon had died. Lori Coble called to let me know. We don't have a lot of information yet, like as to how she passed. We know she was home alone and her son came home after school and she was dead on the couch. The idea of not being able to talk to her or write to her on myspace as I did so often is unimaginable to me right now. It hasn't really processed yet I don't think. We are waiting to get more information on what actually happened but for now I just know she died on Feb 14 at home. I made a tribute video for her and here it is:

Measurement Day

Today i took my measurements because tomorrow I'm starting exercising for real. I have been dieting for almost 4 months now and have lost 28 lbs. but now it's time to make sure i change my whole lifestyle not just what i eat. So it begins today. I have a goal weight of 130 to which i am 25 lbs away from but i plan to hit it by summertime this year.
I will update measurements each month so we can see progress:

New Beginnings

Since my company closed about a week ago i have been struggling with what to do. I don't want to work at another job doing mindless paperwork. My experience is in the area of management and telemarketing but I want to start over. I have a passion for photography and movies. I have posted below some of the movies i have made on my own. I would like to bring this to the masses. I am going to be working with a friend Kaleen and we are going to make this work. We are going to do something fun, that's touching to others where we can really make a different. I will be able to stay home with Trevor which is the most important thing to me now. Eventually we will open a studio and take portraits as well as make the movies. We will have a traveling photography option where we will come to birthdays or weddings and take photos and videos and then produce a final product for the happy couple. We can do tribute videos for funerals, we can do ANYTHING, it's endless. I am really excited and ready to get started. Saturday is our first business meeting together and i'll post updates as they happen. First things first we need a name....
